The gîte is a three star rated self catering accommodation with Gîte de France for a maximum of four guests. It has its own private entrance at the rear of the farm house, via a private garden. There is everything you might want from this lovely part of France for a week or two, or for even just a short break, which is made all the easier with Bergerac airport being only a 25 minute drive away

There is a comprehensive guide with details of the gite and the grounds, kitchen equipment, TV, pool cover procedure, local restaurants and places to visit. There are also details of the additional services that are available with Gîte Plus - for example:- freshly baked bread, baguettes and croissants can be supplied every morning and left on your terrace ready for you to enjoy.
The owners are on site in the adjacent farmhouse and will make sure everything runs smoothly as well as to providing helpful advice if needed. Given the generous space at Le Berme and just the one Gite accommodation, it isn’t difficult for guests to find relaxing peace and quiet from this a wonderful holiday environment.

Gîte Le Berme looks out into its own beautiful sunny private garden with colourful flower borders, hanging baskets and shade, if sought, from the surrounding mature trees. The pool is in near sight of the terrace at the end of the well-kept lawn and is for the sole use of the guests staying in the gîte. The pool is operational from April - October and is open daily from 10am to 10pm with cleaning taking place prior to 10am. Times will vary in the lower seasons.

Le Berme’s luxurious heated pool is salt water, so there is no irritation to skin and eyes and therefore really no need to wear goggles. There are plenty of tables and chairs with comfy cushions and shady spots for quiet siestas, not forgetting the recliners by the pool for sun-worshippers. Watch the sun setting over the walnut orchard from the gite terrace or sundowner covered games area, whilst watching whoever's taking their turn to concoct a super al fresco meal on the barbecue.
