It is possible even within a short drive from Le Berme, to come across a great variety of cultural heritage and typically French 'fêtes et manifestations'
Fancy a vineyard tour? There are many vineyards in the region with the closest being in the direction of Bergerac and Duras. The nearest Vineyard being less than a 20 minute drive away from Le Berme.
There are also chateaux and gardens to visit, along with prehistoric caves - the most famous being the Lascaux caves which have exceptional cave paintings estimated to be circa 20,000 years old! Also plenty of museums, even a paper mill museum which is both an educational and a fun visit, and of course a variety of farms offering their products and tours. There is also a farmers’ market or a brocante to visit every day of the week. There are the many attractive and interesting bastide towns but if you are happy to go further afield, it is worth visiting Domme and Villefranche du Perigord. There are more active and sporty things to do like bowling, mini golf, golf, quad biking, karting and of course canoeing down the many rivers. You can also go for a boat trip if you prefer.
